Nu Chareunrath: Founder | CFO | Strategic Financial Advisor

Nu is the founder of NC Business Group, a boutique financial advisory firm dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners gain clarity and confidence in their financial decisions.


With more than 25 years of experience in tax planning, tax strategy, and tax preparation, Nu brings a deep understanding of both the technical and strategic sides of financial management. She works closely with individuals and business owners to ensure their financial decisions align with both compliance requirements and long-term financial goals.


In addition to her extensive tax expertise, Nu serves as a strategic advisor to growing businesses, combining CFO-level financial insight with practical operational guidance. She is known for her ability to quickly assess financial challenges, identify opportunities, and implement strategies that strengthen the financial health of the organizations and individuals she serves.


Nu leads NC Business Group alongside members of her family, creating a firm built on trust, accountability, and long-term relationships. Together, they are committed to providing thoughtful financial guidance and ensuring every client feels heard, supported, and cared for.

Gia Lobo: Director of Operations

Gia joined NC Business Group three years ago and plays a key leadership role in ensuring the firm operates smoothly and efficiently for both clients and team members.


As Director of Operations, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the firm and helps coordinate the workflow that supports tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll services, and client advisory work. She is also a primary point of contact for many clients, helping ensure their questions are addressed and their needs are met in a timely and thoughtful manner.


Working closely with her sister, Nu Chareunrath, the founder of NC Business Group, Gia helps lead the operational side of the firm while ensuring clients receive the attentive service and support the firm is known for.


Her leadership behind the scenes helps keep the firm running smoothly so the team can focus on delivering thoughtful financial guidance to every client we serve.

Victoria Aguilera: Operations and Client Services Manager

Victoria joined NC Business Group three years ago, continuing the family’s commitment to providing thoughtful, hands-on support to the businesses and individuals we serve.


Trained directly under Nu, the firm’s founder and CFO, she developed a strong foundation in bookkeeping oversight, payroll management, and client service operations. She is also a certified tax preparer and works closely with the team to ensure financial records are organized, accurate, and ready for tax preparation.


In her role, Victoria manages the firm’s front office and serves as an important point of contact for clients. She helps coordinate payroll services, reviews bookkeeping work, and ensures client accounts move smoothly through the firm’s workflow.


Known for her organization and attention to detail, Victoria plays a key role in supporting both clients and the team while helping maintain the high level of service NC Business Group is known for.

Vinny Aguilera: Tax Preparer/Strategist

Vinny joined NC Business Group two years ago, continuing the family’s commitment to serving business owners and individuals with trusted financial guidance. As the son of founder Nu Chareunrath, he grew up around entrepreneurship and the work of helping business owners strengthen their financial foundations.


Before joining the firm, Vinny received hands-on training under a CPA as well as under Nu, the firm’s founder and CFO, gaining experience in tax preparation, financial analysis, and client advisory. He is certified to prepare tax returns and works closely with clients to ensure their filings are accurate, compliant, and aligned with their financial goals.


Clients appreciate Vinny’s approachable style and attention to detail. He takes pride in making complex tax matters easier to understand and ensuring every client feels heard and supported throughout the process.


Today, Vinny works alongside Nu and the team to continue building the strong client relationships that NC Business Group is known for.

Nicole Jones: HR Consultant

Nicole began her career in operations, holding several leadership roles, her highest level being a regional director of a large 

food chain restaurant. Driven by her passion for people, she decided to specialize in human resources, focusing on  enhancing employee experiences and organizational culture. In 2022, Nicole earned her SHRM certification, a globally recognized credential that underscores her high level of expertise and commitment to the HR profession. 


Her diverse background in operations and human resources provides Nicole with a strategic advantage in developing and 

implementing company initiatives and policies. She has successfully guided organizations in creating HR policies, employee handbooks, performance reviews, and other initiatives that have significantly contributed to their success. 

Julie Fields: Financial Strategist

Julie has joined our consulting team as a seasoned finance strategy expert with over 20 years of proven leadership in Financial Modeling, Operational Efficiencies, Report Creation, and Budgeting. As the Chief Financial Officer at Vehicle Recycling Services LLC, she successfully opened and operated a startup salvage business, expanding to four salvage yards during her tenure. 


As the founder of both 2-PointZero Consulting and Fivestar Consulting LLC, she has been entrusted by multiple clients to implement advanced accounting systems, troubleshoot operational inefficiencies, build budgets, and administer incentive plans. With an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Colorado, she brings a solid educational foundation to complement her extensive professional experience.
